I just wanted to tell everyone about a really great parcel delivery company that i have just used for the second time.

As you may know sending large/heavy parcels sometimes costs a fortune and is a pain to organise !!

I have just posted a chest that i sold on Ebay, other couriers were charging minimum of around £25 to post it and it would have possibly taken longer. Send it now costs from just £10.99 flat rate, you just fill the form in online and the courier comes pick it up and send it off.

I ordered my pick up at 12.45pm and the courier came to take it off me at 13.45 !!! Very impressed.

2 DAYS: £10.99
NEXT DAY BY 17.30: £11.99
NEXT DAY BY NOON: £13.99

Hope it's of use to someone out there .. worht a look believe me !!

Sorry it's a PERMANENT PRICE.
Just thought that everyone should know about it cos it really is so easy and much bettr than all the other sites !! Would even work out cheaper than hocking it to the post office most of the time.
Hope it's ok it's in the deals section ... just think its a great site. :-D

for a 80cm x 55cm x 55cm 18kg parcel on parcel2go from what i can tell would have cost from £56 which takes 1-2 days !!!!! thats a lot more. Mine cost me £13.99 next day.

parceltree.com

parceltree doesnt look too bad from what i briefly saw, only thing is you would have to wait in all day for them to pick up, whereas sentitnow gives you a few hour time slot.

either way hopefully some people can save some pennies from this deal no matter which site they use. thanks peeps. ;-)

I used parcel express off of ebay (i think that was the name) and it was £8.99 for a large parcel and parcelforce collected it from my home.
#10
I looked at parceltree and there isn't an option for insuring over £50 unless taking out the expensive (as in triple the price) shipping option. Anyone used parceldrop.co.uk? (not the best of names really!)
#11
Looks like this is Parcel Force online if as detailed in T&C- does anyone know if this is legit or a scam?
#12
Blimey it looks really good, normally use parcel2go.com, but this is about £10 cheaper.
Thanks, heat & rep added.

Wow, cheap prices and door to door service from a major carrier, full backing of Parcelforce
#19
I use these off ebay and they in turn use DHL excellent service and only £5.54

Can't seem to add the link but item number 110280437311

This is quite expensive, ppwexpress do a 48hr DHL service for £6.99 or 24hr for £7.45, including vat and all surcharges.

parceltree.com

yes parcel tree is cheaper and up to 30kgs too

2 DAYS: £6.49
NEXT DAY BY 17.30: £6.99

only benefit of senditnow is you don't have to wait in all day for them to collect parcel off you, they give you a few hour slot. A lot just say between 9-5 and so on.
#23
This is 100% genuine, you will see more of this in coming weeks as Parcelforce are looking to promote their online presence.

I have just used the service for the first time. A 28 kilo box containing garden equipment. Delivered for 10.99 including £100 insurance. From Exeter, Devon to Ascot, Berkshire.
The delivery came in a ParcelForce van:)
