I was listening to a radio show the other day about energy prices when a caller said that all energy companies have something called social tariffs. The energy supplier basically charges you at their standard rates and then refunds you some money back every month.
This is obviously subject to meeting certain critera, low income, vulnerability etc. but it might be worth a phone call to your energy provider to see if you qualify or not.
I'd never heard of these, had anybody else?
Type 'social tariffs' into google and there's lots of info on them.
