Would prefer to have something reserved in advance as the store I normally go have things a lot more expensive in the baskets

I thinks Argos have a donate to charity type scheme. I was able to donate a penny one time in the past to take my total spend from 49.99 to 50 quid to enable me to get a voucher. It was the guy working at the till that advised me about it.

Thats a great idea, so I'd be able to donate £1.31 to take the total to £50?

Might go for the batteries, backup plan.

Yeah thats what I did. I only had to donate 1p though to take me to 50 quid. Ask the store assistant at the till and they will let you know if you can still do this. It was the guy at the till that told me about it and I was well pleased.

Thanks for the tip, got some batteries reserved just in case, will look for something around the £1.31 mark that might be of some use to me :)
