cheap places to stay near to or with easy access to eurodisney

We are thinking about spending a short break 3-4 days near eurodisney paris at the begining of july. I know all the hotels inside are mega expensive especially at that time of year, but can anyone recomend a hotel/motel/b&b/campground etc with easy access (wont be driving so would have to be close to a transport route - bus/train) to disneyland dont mind the travelling time as long as its accessible! for a reasonable price?

thanks!

I mentioned it to someone other day about a Gite.
Search Gites in France.
I don't know what they like but ask here.

have you priced up Disney's Hotel Santa Fe its not as pricey as you think i went last year and stayed there free busses run every 5-10 mins to and from the hotel /park with a 3 min journey time ideal for the kids (and adults) after a long busy day do you really want a long treck to your accomadation it may be worth the little extra money the breakfast was great too filled you up for the whole day only needed to buy tea and the disney charactors visit at breakfast, its worth it

The buses are wild to get on,infact my partner filmed the hustle to get on the bus,I think he's going post it up on YouTube sometime lol.

Next time I go I'm going rent a Gite,or something self catering, food is naff there, and specially if you Veggie.

yeah ive checked out the hotels and they are all pretty expensive but thats due to the time of year.
We are now thinking campsites close to a RER arent to bothered about the travelling as it only be 2 adults no liluns (we big kids) lol

We stayed at the Dream Castle Hotel twice. its just outside the resort, but there's a (free) bus to and from Disneyland (stops right outside hotel entrance). Lovely hotel, can't recommend it highly enough. Great, clean, spacious rooms, great for kids especially. And there's a swimming pool. Breakfast is included and is really good.

yeh thats what I mean, you gotta to last thing,it's madness, then its so packed as you coming out and with younger kids etc,you tend to get to bus stop and think right we wait for next 1,and then they just all pound on. It's crazy both times I've been there.

Would you be worried about stuff being stolen like your clothes?

Any shopping you do there will need to be done on last day, theres more shops there than attractions and rides.

we wont take anything of value so wont be too concerned about leaving it, there will be plenty of people around so hopefully wont be a problem

its not just the hotels that are mega expensive. My mate just came back and it said it was £30 for a burger, fries and shake for 3 people! £7 a pint etc.

Yeh and as you probably already know, keep you passports with you.

I wouldn't know if they had any lockers/safes and if you should use them or not.

Anyway have a great time.

Kinda romantic just the 2 of you, its' hectic when you go with kids, omg. It ain't a holiday at all lol.
But we mainly go for them cos they want to go and its good fun even though tiresome.

The McDonalds in the Disney Village isn't too bad,but they only got fries and a salad us veggies cna have.
Some of the other places you can eat at are rideculous, charging like £5 for a burger etc.Wouldn't care but it's not that good going by some reviews I've seen.

I took loads of food, surprised we didn't get stopped at customs on Eurostar.

go direct to euro disney for your tickets, buy them seperately and get two lots of quidco. I bought seven tickets last year and got 7 x £5 back!
