Anybody know a good website to find cars with a low feul consumption and road tax, therefore cheaper to run?

I have a fiat punto 1.2 which is quite cheap to run but want something on that scale or a little bit more, but which is slightly bigger...and better looking :)

dunno if this post helps, but DONT GET A BMW 6 series, if your looking for a cheap runner, I have one and they cost bills.

Vaxhall Cavalier is a good buy

We have a renault megan think it is 1.5 diesel and £35 a month car tax and a full tank of around £60 gets us about 600 miles. Car cost us £3000 and is 4 years old (I think)

A Cavalier my ****! Thats about as economical as "your" bmw.

Get a BMW, because for some people they run on imaginary fuel for their imaginary cars, costing zero :)

read in the paper at the weekend a Yaris is supposed to be quite good-cheap insurance and good value for money on petrol & parts.

Looking more for a second hand car rather than a new one, although the golf bluemotion looks alright (But 9k)
