Or maybe cable.

My old flatmate has cable in her room and shes moving in summer(she has finished her 3rd year)

So maybe we can take a new contract out.

I know the cheap £75 sky one is good but want it in at least 2 rooms(and up to 5 rooms)

Whats cheapest way as I think SKY want £50 per extra box plus £10 multiroom per month.

Now it wont matter if we pay the £10 each for multiroom plus the package but its the price of each box

For multiroom, I thought they gave you a new box anyway for free? (Though there is a charge of £10pm per extra box.

I assume this is a new contract you are taking? If it is, I have a code you can use to get a free sky+ box and install. Then whatever extra rooms you want done, just get them to do that at the same time (or when you feel like it!)

Well i phoned before and they wanted either 40 or 50 for each box apart from the first box, and a connection fee. but this was 3 months ago.

Is anyone else of the opinion that Sky are MUCH better than Virgin? I think it should become the new Microsoft Vs Apple.

I had first box free and one other for £10 p.m.
I have a hd Sky + box in lounge
ordinary sky box in kirtchen
and one other upstairs
making 3 boxes I have full package so only pay for the one box £10 p.m. plus the full package charge
with more than 3 boxes you will need and extra outlet on the dish
The dish can only do 4 boxes, the Sky + takes up two which leaves just two other outlets unless you have a converter to accept more outlets
I hope you understand this as I am not too good at this I wanted an extra box and this is what I was told by sky - i.e. I have the maximum (1 Sky + and 2 Boxes) for my dish.
Good luck, Get someone to recommend you they are now offering £75 each to you and the person that recommends you.

I suppose it depends on who you get to speak to. Some are helpful, some are not.

If you get told that again, ask how much it would cost to add multiroom at a later date. That is free - so cant see how they can justify charges on a first install!

Anyway, the free sky+ box and install code is still available if you need it.
