Is there anyway of checking to see if an xbox 360 has been flashed other then trying a copied game in it?

Thanks.

See if the seal is broken, although that can be avoided too.

Check the back to see if the holes have been punctured.

Nevermind what is it for? Do you need it to be flashed or not?

basically it was my brothers who's moved and left it for me, i want to sell it but noticed that the warranty sticker is missing and the silver strip under the drive has also half removed. there doesn't appear to be any holes in the back. i'm just trying to find out if he had it flashed or not but he's away for a month and i can't get my hands on any copies to test it, hence me trying to find another way (if there is one).

Where's he gone? A month with no contact. A secret agent?

To war could be a good guess? I dunno.

To OP, can you go on Xbox live marketplace or save games to hdd? Think they are usually disabled when an Xbox has been banned.

Right, just checked it online and lets me access market place, download demos, connect to xbox live and copied a game to the harddive, so i'm guessing its not flashed unless anyone has anything i can check?

If you get banned it rarely happens instantly.

Having access proves nothing.... It might not have been flagged up yet, or maybe this was the first time it was put on live (and if so then you've probably just flagged it up to MS, lol). Either way, it wouldn't be flagged and banned immediately, give it a few weeks.

Easiest way to check would be to put a copied game in and test it, but from all the tampering that you have described it sounds like it's been opened.

Might have red ringed and his brother might have tried an x-clamp fix.

Some people just look inside to see whats in there:roll:
