I'm still chuckling about Jensons pit stop.

What an absolutely awesome race.

Shame about button, but then it was his own fault. Hamilton... Just flawless.

And to think he had 35 seconds to spare to get out to the grid after that fuel line issue, great work from the woking squad!

What a great race series that its down to the tyre maker to put excitement into it

were given a brief to make tryes less durable than last years bridgestones in order to spice the racing up and not to give processional races so far they seem to have done that. You may hate on it but it's been a cracking race

F1 is 95% car 5% driver,just like Horse racing where it's 95% horse & 5% jockey.

They also say that just over 63% of statistics are made up.

At least you agree its down to the tyres to make it exciting or it would be boring
but tbh i've seen better/more exciting/closer racing on the roads around me

It's a combination of many elements, these guys are still driving round at up to speeds of 200mph and cornering and braking with loads of up to 5g.

Not gonna bother ranting on anymore to your baiting and hating on f1 lol

didn't watch the begining of the race , but what happened to hamiltons car at the start - I saw brief clips of them getting rid of water or fuel from the car just before the car was due on the grid ?

They had a fuel line issue so were leaking fuel into the air filter...they got the car out to the grid with 35 seconds to spare...otherwise Lewis would have started last and from the pits!

Just finished watching it - recorded it in case I didn't wake up. Webber was sensational, what a wonderful drive he had moving up through the places. Button had a great start but then the spark went when he went in the pits in the wrong place, apparently he came in on the wrong lap anyway? What was that all about?
Best grand prix for a long time.
So difficult being a Jensen fan sometimes.

new rules are a bit gimmicky with kers and drs but who cares it makes exciting racing, Hamilton and Webber are = driver of the day imo. Buttons lack of aggression cost him.

yeh, erm where do people race at 200mph on 'narrow public roads' (that havent been closed to make a temp. race circuit)?

i do actually see where you are coming from regards to making f1 more exciting - I have found it has become generally less exciting in recent years but perhaps I am a bit nostalgic for the golden years when we had real personalities and rivalries [senna/prost, hill/schuey etc...]

I didn't say i hated it and i do watch it if available online
but i think you'll find doing 200mph on narrow public roads is far exciting than doing it on a track with plenty of run off spaces

Of course the roads are closed for racing :|
It would just be called a normal commute for some people if they weren't

Fantastic race.

Usually the 1st 5 laps, and the last 5 are the only interesting ones. This race was the best one for a long long time.

normally the last stint was always boring as the race had been played out and then drivers just 'cruised' round in a fuel consumption mode just keeping their lead/positions in check.

Great to see lots on and wheel to wheel action all around with different people on different strategies
