I am looking at going on holiday at the end of September. I want to fly from Norwich Airport as it isn't far from me and would be alot easier than having to fly from London.

Anyway, Norwich Airport isn't very big so destinations are limited. I also want to fly out on a Friday or Saturday so again, that limits my destinations!

My choices therefore are CORFU, CRETE, IBIZA or TURKEY.

I want to go somewhere with nice beaches, warm / hot climate, plenty to do and see (there must be a waterpark but I think most holiday destinations have these!). I am not interested in clubbing / drinking so I don't want to go anywhere that resembles a Club 18 - 30 holiday!

Where do you think I should go?!

-Ibiza is good if you want to go clubbing and get drunk but that's about it.
-Some parts of Crete are really nice. I stayed in a 5* hotel there a few years ago and I enjoyed it.
-Been to Turkey. Didn't like it. Wouldn't go back.

I've never been to Corfu though so I can't comment.

Why didn't you like Turkey? At the moment my top two choices are Turkey and Crete as, like you said, Ibiza is very clubbing / drinking orientated and Corfu seems a bit dull from what I have seen!

Turkey was superb. Weather was great and lots too do and see. Would recommend it 100%

It was mega hot, 40 degrees+ and I didn't really like the culture that much.

Been to all four, depends what you are after, flew from Norwich each time too, although with Turkey we had to stop at Stansted to take extra fuel (good eh? - runway wasn't long enough or something to carry all the fuel to take off). I would go for Med coast Turkey anytime, Antalya airport, the all inclusive hotels are great and the one we stayed at (Kaya Belek) had its own waterslides in the pool, was right on the beach and had a real Turkish bath (great fun). It was really hot. In Ibiza planes went directly over our hotel and the water park (which was opposite), Crete was nice but the pools were sea water, I don't remember a water park and we are a water park family, so either it wasn't very good or we didn't go for some reason, there's lots of history type things to see (if that floats your boat) and a disused leper colony island. Don't forget the weather will be cooling slightly on the islands at that time of year too. So if I was you, and I wished I was! I'd go for Turkey. Just another thought we also booked for Bulgaria from Norwich and it got changed to Stansted at late notice because they couldn't fill the plane or suchlike, grrr.
