Any idea what breed these are?
Just been offered them at 10 weeks old £15 for all three after placing an advert on preloved but seller doesnt know breed (small scale rescue - usually rabbits and guinea pigs).

Or are they more likely to be hybrids?

How easy is it to sex them? (that sounds so wrong!!!)

Or would I be better going where I got my brown hybrids from and buying them fully vaccinated for £8 (brown hybrids) £10 (white hybrids) and at point of lay and guaranteed females?

Next question is the ones I got Saturday was sold as POL, being a newbie I thought that meant now laying, but find its actually almost ready to lay so how long can I expect to wait for eggs?

Could be white sussex.
As far as sexing them goes, try buying them a drink first...

They look a bit like my mum's orpingtons, I don't know a huge amount about chickens though sorry Harltzer so that might be no help at all!

Looking at your pic I think you may be right!

Does that mean they are from Guvs back yard then?

Still undecided whether to go for some white hens to compliment the browns or go for a couple of silkies either blue
