I know a lot of people dont really like Chris Moyles on this forum...tbh i think he can be a right idiot as well...but was watching him on the red button last night as well and the guy is making a mammoth effort in aid of comic relief.

They have been on since 6.30am yesterday and will break Radio 1's record when they get to 37hours..although are trying to get to 52hours..... good luck to them both..also quite fun with the number of guests coming in!

Nice to see him pushing himself to the physical limits. Surely a heart attack is on the cards.

I don't know how he's keeping awake. Standing up mostly as well.
I watched him late last night and he looked a bit tired but he looks fine this morning. Lots of caffeine I suppose.

Good luck to him and Dave and hope he raises loaaaaaads of money.

We live in hope. That would be the funniest thing either of them has ever achieved.

Jealousy is a powerful emotion isn't it!!!!
#7
not a big fan of his work especially "comedy" dave but he always does a lot of work for charity mate, can't knock that
#8
might tune in during the drive time and through the night slots that he used to do and see if he can recapture a time when he genuienly was funny(even comedy dave was good).
#9
this is got nothing to do with comic relief, its all about personal egos and future career prospects
#10
moyles and not so comedy dave both know very well their radio1 careers are coming to an end.

hence, we are seeing both of them frequently on tv attempting to secure alternative careers, sadly using "doing for charity" as a means to achieve the end goal.

dont be fooled people

I don't really care if its just about extending their careers or self-promotion.
Its making money for people who need it. (_;)

People really believe in true altruism?
#13
Both of them clearly know the time is close. Dave is venturing into Sports Journalism like Chappers did and Chris is trying his hand with other things.

But it doesn't matter. Whatever the taste in music/DJs, they are both fantastic broadcasters .

Hmmm I don't really think so, Chris has increased in listeners and is number 1 for his demographic and Comedy Dave is an ironic name, clearly you do not listen to them Johnny Vaughan.

I wouldn't bother even responding to the troll.

Record broken and £1m raised so far for comic relief. Fantastic effort.

Having a prefix to your name of "comedy" should suggest that you are funny.

So how much have you raised for charity this year?

Ps. They have done very well to raise such a massive sum of money.

I think its the first time a lot of people have felt in some way 'connected' with what is actually going on in terms of raising cash for these charity things.

Chris Moyles (and Dave) are absolute stars for doing this - forget the negative crap!

And yes, goal is 52 hours.... so 15 to go. I'm guessing a few people will be up with them tonight on the red button!

Unfortunately most peoples reaction these days is to look for the negative instead of celebrating the positive. Very sad really. The way they have used the modern technology to help people buy into this is great

Totally agree Stewby. This is about two guys doing something special via ways that mean it really is just 'then and us' - no unnecessary influence from anyone out for themselves.

Unselfish action. I love it.

There are reasons why that is my user name. Not one of those is because I have the ability to pull a rabbit from a hat. I would suggest that is entirely different to wanting to publicly be known as "comedy" whoever.

I wont lie, I did deserve it!

Maybe my hatred of Chris Moyles tainted my opinion of "Dave".

Why do people hate Chris Moyles? He cheers my morning up no end, and we need more funny people on this planet - life would be dull without him and people like him.
