Now at least the thread isn't about VD :D

I currently have man flu too.

Oh and a sick day has to be better than struggling with the snow and cancelled buses/trains and having to take a day off because you can't get in (no pay).

Lemsip contains less than half the adult dose of paracetamol (300mg) but it tastes nice and is a hot drink.

Save money, buy paracetamol (36p) and make honey / sugar and lemon hot drink =.....pence.

Yeah I've had some kind of weird fever thing over last few days.

Started out with a cough turned into me shivering in bed even whilst fully clothed, and feeling so weak I thought I was gonna collapse when making a lemsip!
Back in at work today though, but I'm randomly sweating all over which isn't too fun :(

I've got the female version, coughing, wheezy but popped a few paracetamols and am doing prep for christmas and will be going to work. And looking after the rest of the poorly people in the house!

Ive got the snotty nose and cough from hell. I nearly threw up in the shower this morning from coughing so much. Ive had it once this year already and got it again now. Im going on a 'get the hell away from me' mode when this has gone. Im sick of catching germs off people.

Not normal to have a wheeze with flu / cold (unless you are asthmatic, even then need to seek medical attention). If you are not asthmatic, would suggest you get yourself looked at. Not urgent if you are up and about and in work but worth looking into. Unlikely to get GP appt (although our health centre very quiet this week...patients all busy shopping). Could always try local Walk in Centre if no appts available

Thanks but I work for NHS so will speak to one of the docs there if need be, to be honest I think I have a case of acute bronchitis but I won't be using antibiotics unless It gets worse.
