i didnt buy it

I thought you could change the listings in real time in the top 40 these days? Don't they get locked down at like 6pm? So a leak at 3pm isn't necessarily right?

Although you might get a good idea from the first time they read them out at about 4:30?

That's the big top 40 uk which isn't the official chart.

The official chart (which is heard on Radio 1) is counted on Saturday evening!
#21
does SEEM to be true-a few reliable sources are quoting the same figures. People may laugh at the "anarchy" of everyone organising to but RATM but it is the only way the xfactor coulda been stopped is it not? just buying "anything else",or not buying at all wouldnt have worked-everyone had to be behind the same song to achieve this.

I didnt download either, and it is meaningless to me what number one is,after all,the whole chart is meaningless nowadays but cowell has embarrassed himself with his stories this week about facebook "bullying" of joe etc-its quite pathetic really-the boy has ZERO talent imho-glorified pub singer just like leon jackson before him. I hate the x factor, hate cowell and actually find this mildly amusing, but ultimately it isnt anarchy, and it isnt a "blow for the little guy",its all just mindless drivel.

according to one fb group rage are about 1000 sales behind : (

Lady GaGa at 3, not long now!
#24
Faceless group you mean?

Betfair had RATM at 1.01 with X-Factor at 5's+ a couple of hours ago.

Bettings now suspended, so word must be out.

*shakes fist in air*

bring back TOTP, the days sat in front of the telly waiting for the new number to be played or recording the top 40 from the radio with a tape recorder & finding out on playback you have your mum on it shouting upstairs that tea is ready !

yoof of today, what do they know, damn you yoof's :x

The UK's Xmas Number 1 is Rage Against The Machine selling 502,672 copies. X Factor Joe is Number 2 having sold 450,838 via Scott Mills radio 1
#32
Although I never bought either, it's about time people stuck it to the industry and show just why people stopped buying the mush that they spew out.

gonna agree with u here, pretty pathetic buying the song just to stop someone else getting no.1, people should buy the song that they want to not follow the mass, i didnt buy any of them cos they were all crap lol

lol, this thing is quite funny, quite a wierd thing to do

all you do is give more money to the record company, as someone mentioned number 1 got half a million sales while 2nd was 50,000 short. however, that would have been enough obviously to be number 1 so the record company made an extra half mill sales, cos it wouldn't have sold that many if people didn't want to stop an xfactor single from being number 1,
