So I've finished all my decorations, wrapping and cards...what shall I do with my time ...other than hunt flamedeer... I'm uneasy at being so organised...what have I forgotten? How's everyone doing?

How do you even make eggnog?

Just so happens I have a recipe

Ingredients:
6 large eggs
3/4 Cup of caster sugar
1/2 Cup Rum
1 1/2 Cups of Brandy
4 Cups of Milk
2 Cups of cream

Method:
Separate the Eggs and get rid of the whites
Put the yolks in a large bowl and whisk together with the sugar
slowly add the booze, whisking whilst adding
Mix in the Milk and Cream
Give a good mix for a min or so.

notes:

- The alcohol keeps the dairy products fresh, so it'll keep for a while.
- Other alcohol works too - southern comfort gives a nice, sweet, almost fruity taste.
- I like to serve in shots with a squirt of cream on top with a sprinkle of nutmeg.

I ho ho hope you like it.
