Christmas... time for reflection ?

what a load of tosh.. just and excuse to get drunk and over eat, then in the afternoon another domestic, what joys, what fun, christmas time for joy and happiness.. do me a favour..

Old folk all alone, homeless folk with no one to care, unhappy people all alone, kids with troubles to scared to tell, abused women to scared to leave.. so much pain..so much hate, so much recrimination, so little time ..

take one second to think how our lives could be so different its a fine line ..

Merry Christmas.. perhaps not

thats true but its also a time to be thankful for the blessings u have been given. We all have some part of our life that is troubled, a relative whos ill or in need...
In all those pretty windows there is a element of pain. Im very lucky this year and ill be thankful for that.
I will also spare a thought for less fortunate.
we not all uncaring u know..
Merry christmas to you.

I agree!

It's not like this in all homes... Some people choose to invite lone people in over Christmas, or adopt another family and make their time more special. Others go out and help in the community, and thank God for those thoughtful people who help all year round!

I have had enough of my own troubles and im sure others have too,
Christmas is a time to forget all your troubles and have a nice day, im sorry for those who dont have a happy christmas but i work hard and deserve a nice christmas why should i feel bad, like the begging adverts on tv;

give £2/£3/£5/£15 per month and help a child/o.a.p/orphan child in africa etc etc

If i sit there and think about it, it upsets me im far too sensitive for things like that, like on this morning there was an old lady who hadnt seen another person for days, it honestly brought tears to my eyes
