Christmas tree chocolate tip:-)

This might be a really stoopid tip to give but it's what I do and saves a fortune.
Instead of buying packets of chocolate tree decs for our tree at £1.99/£2.99 for 12 I buy a tin of heros, cleebrations etc... and thread some cotton to each and hang those up. Kids much prefer them as they have more of a choice and it works out cheaper:-D

Now either ur all gonna say.......'wot's the point' or 'that's wot we all do' lol

why not just leave an open tin underneath, cheaper than buying the cotton - lol

Good idea hannah, I have never bought chocs for the tree though, no chance, turn my back for 5 mins and my daughter would have ate them all

I do it every year...eat the choc and put the empty wrappers back on....havent put choc on the tree this year...dont need help with being a fatty:oops:

one thing that drives me potty is when people put empty wrappers back in tin, arrggghhh :w00t: oh and the toilet roll on back to front, and no not on the xmas tree silly

TIP: instead of using cotton, thread the xmas tree lights through the chocs instead,

this way anyone who tries to steal a choc from the tree will get electrocuted:thumbsup:

? I personally prefer way number 1, which I would class as the right way, since it's easier to access and well, pull :)

Ah I see now, so my way is the right way :D w00t!

and empty coke bottles.... why?? Its just as much effort to put them in the bin than the fridge:roll:

my son will give his sister his packet of sweets with just 2 in....so she is then responsible for binning the rubbish, she falls for it every time

as for loo roll, aslong as there is some i dont care which way it is lol
