Are all chrome extensions so intrusive?
Just giving chrome a whirl and 3 add-ons I have tried out of 3 have all had warnings that they want access to my tabbed data or browsing history. One even stated that it wanted access to everything on my PC!
Surely people dont allow access for these and are they all this intrusive?
e.g.
Autopager
Teleprompter
Anyone got any cool essential extensions they feel add to the browser?

:p I don't really add many extensions to be honest so wouldn't know!
both of those say you need to grant full access to all your data on all websites. Surely this is giving the developers access to all your banking login info etc etc?

It states on their website the following:
"Data retention: Adblock Plus stores some data in the Firefox profile on your computer. Adblock Plus never transmits this data to any servers"

Whilst I agree that adblock must be uber safe due to 6M downloads, the overall security for extensions is ridiculous. Maybe google are just covering their backside by having all the warnings and firefox extensions are just as unsafe....
