quick question........how old do you have to be to have one? My son is 14 and showing a keen interest, can it be bought outright for a year or is it only available on DD?

If you're a platinum member with Pruhealth, you can buy the year membership with Cineworld for £25. :)

I'm not sure if you can get the Orange deal on a yearly membership, as it's only supposed to be restricted to Wednesdays. :)

Bitsey: You can be any age, you can buy it outright or you can have it in your name and DD's can be taken out of your account he'll just be the card holder. (My sister was mine when I was 15)

thanks tomm, might look into this as a xmas/bday pressie.......though im reckoning he would have to go at least 4 times a month to make it worth his while, maybe when he is 15 next year i will look into it

Do you have a Vue cinema nearby or something else, as lastminute.com offer £5.50 for adults to attend any time monday-thursdays.

There's cheaper cinemas too but like you said, it would mean he has to visit the cinema quite often to make it worthwhile, so only get it if he really loves films and his friends want to go to that cinema too.

Yes you can use your cineworld pass for orange wednesdays remembered seeing this on money saving expert (Martin Lewis's site).

There's a sneaky addition to this loophole, allowing you and a mate to get four films a month for £11. Cineworld cinemas offers an Unlimited films pass for £11/month; and better still I've confirmed this works with the Orange Wednesday codes so a pass holder can take a partner/mate for free. Overall this means unlimited movies for you, plus your pal gets four free films a month, all for £11.

Important to note the price has since risen. £13.99 a month now I think.

Oh, that's quite good, how do you take advantage of Orange Wednesdays, do you need to top up your orange PAYG on a regular basis or anything or do you just need to have an orange sim?

I can get Cineworld yearly subscriptions for £25 for the whole year but only for myself. :)
