you can spam the iPad if you want.. this should be in feedback really aswell, but i would like clarification on this topic too...
personally i am apposed to some posting a group deal, then individuals listing every item individually from that deal as seperate deals... they are not seperate deals, they probably havent even been found by the individuals...
all it does is flood HUKD with multiple deals all from the same retailer and under the same premis and hides other deals....
i think mods may be inclined to disagree as it might affect the number of refferals from the site?
all heat attributed to the individual deals should be added to the collective deal, just make that one of the hottest of the day

Would be veery entertaining but would probably be banned lol

I have no problem with 'bulk' deals that list many items in one thread. But this heads up didn't list anything originally, it was just a general 'heads up'. I only listed a few of the best deals in my opinion as I didn't want to spam the new deals feed. Granted, I found the deals via the iPad deal but not the heads up deal.
And also I'm not going to spam the iPad deal as it's a great deal in its own right.

its been a bit of a let down so far
We are trying to return any that have been member spammed (as long as they are not duplicates) as soon as possible.

Thank you very much. There were a couple of blu-ray deals that got spammed

But heads ups belong in misc as they are not deals anyway?
I think the difference here is probably the over-use of the phrase "heads up" for everything that has been posted which doesn't have an active deal yet as opposed to something that will probably happen.

Apple's Friday thread is definitely a heads up, it has no products or prices I spammed it it was returned. I reported it, it was ignored. But some moron keeps returning it. It is not a deal and needs removing.
I probably wasn't clear enough - the Apple promotion is confirmed by the retailer (or it had enough evidence to suggest it was going to happen) so it quite rightly stayed in deals.
Moving forward (and if you are not happy with this explanation) it might just be easier to hit "Report" and then a decision can be made on it.
Once an unconfirmed "heads up" appears and it is moved to Misc will I be able to give you a working example of how things should (however I appreciate they probably always dont) go.

I did spam and report, some moron returned it.
It is not a deal as no price or products.
You have my explanation so you/we now know what we expect.
Thanks.
Ok - I will take a look at that ASAP.
Suppose one simple solution is dont allow multiple deals if you want long lists of the same stuff... That would solve it, plus some bundle deals only got hot for effort sometimes :/

well thats changed then as previously if there were no products or prices listed it was classed as a heads up and moved to misc, when did that change without anyone being told?
