Has anyone done this before? Please tell me its incredible. Also, has anyone got any advice on what I could do to raise the money?!?!

Thanks,

If you are serious and commit yourself to it then you should set up a justgiving page or something online as it's convenient for people donating and also makes donations eligible for gift aid.

First things first, set up your justgiving page now lol and spread the word via social networking sites.

Ask friends/colleagues to donate their loose change etc......soon builds up

Good luck :D

You laugh, but him and a load of celebs climbed Kili for Red Nose Day/Comic Relief and even if you get a bog standard reply back it's not a bad idea.

I know he did it, but I never thought he'd reply...

Maybe if I set up an account on just giving (I'll do it when I'm registered for the expedition) and see if I can get him to retweet it!

I have just done this climb for BHF, raised over £15k. Its one of the most amazing life expierences i have ever had. you are going to love it. the feeling you get when you hit the summit is ...well you will find out.

As for Chris Moyles, we had the same guides as he had and lets just say they told us how much assistance he had and im not suprised he made it to the top, shame he didnt climb all the way back down..They were all airlifted from the last water point just before you hit the Saddle..

I did about 5 years ago and its something i would definately want to do again! To be honest its not as hard as you'd think....just do a lot of walking in preperation!

Its such an amazing feeling when getting to the summit...on your travels to the top you'll meet loads of people....its just great fun!

probably the single most challenging thing you will ever do in your life, few things in life can come close to the experience but nothing will ever match it :)

Fair play and a good idea to do it for a charity but £2660 is a lot of money to raise. Keep us in touch with you fund raising.

I am planning on doing the 'coast to coast' walk in 2012, 192 miles unless i get lost on the way :p
