I always remember a little saying, the clocks Spring forward (in the spring) and Fall back! (in the autumn) Unfortunately this means we are about to lose an hour!

Nice way of remembering. Shame we have to tho - its ludicrous we still continue with this practice. How arrogant are we changing time to suit the wants of but a few! We have come along a lot since the start of the 1900s!

It's not just us though, it happens in many other countries too:

Tell me about it! I went to Houston, Texas a couple of weeks ago and after a long day travelling I found out that I was losing an hour as their clocks went back that night. Now I'm going to lose another hour tonight here in England.

Yawn!

I think they should change the time they change at. It's pointless having them change at 2AM.
They should make it at 10PM then I wouldn't have to get up in the middle of the night and change all the clocks in the house. I'm always so tired the next day.

in our house we just change them before we go to bed, easy so there's no disruption to my sleep lol
#12
exactly it doesn't really matter when you change them, i always do it before i go to bed the day before
#13
you dont actually lose anything - my how we are ruled by time

Do you really get up in the middle of the night to change your clocks?!?!?!?! :w00t:
Changing subject a bit, but still that of time - I once was travelling from New Zealand to Hawaii. I left NZ at around 8pm on - say it was a Tuesday, can't remember now what actual day it was- anyway 8pm I left NZ and was on the plane for around 10 hours. When I arrived in Hawaii it was 6am on that same Tuesday!!! I lived the same day TWICE. It really screwed up my diary entry for that day!!

I just wish we had double summer time (i.e put them forward 2 hours). It still got light here this morning at 5:30 and gets dark at 7:30PM I'd prefer 6:30 and 8:30. It would be great not getting dark until 11PM in June!
