Hey guys!

Posted asking about games the other day, thanks for the posts on it! However some folk posted I should get a DSTT and memory for my console. I've looked into it and am now completely baffled!!

I used to be so up on technology and new games etc but lately I've just been baffled by it all!! (and I only just turned 27! not exactly ancient hehe).

Well I've got no idea what sorta DSTT I'm meant to be getting... any advice on that would be great..

However looking on here it'd look like this 8gb card would be good to get for the DSTT am I right or being a total eejit? http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/253877/kingston-8gb-micro-sd-sdhc-card-cla/showthread.php?t=253877&page=2

Thanks in advance.. you guys are the best!! Exp with such a techotwat like myself ;)

8GB in a DSTT is seriously too much, get a 2GB maybe 4GB.

It wouldn't do anything, just sit there unused.

It would work fine. If you need 150 games on a DS, then get one.

Unless you put films or music on. I use my ds as a MP3 player too.

I don't know anyone that watches films on their DS.

You have a point about MP3's, my son also has lots on his 4GB, but I just think that 8GB for 99% of users is a waste.

Agreed. Though if you don't use if for films yourself, make sure you tell them the folly of it. I mean, who has the right to put things on the card you don't use it for!

Don't watch films often but have in the past when have been travelling, but do use it it watch simpsons, family guy and futurarma on it as animated programs work well on it.

But I'm sure your right if you say so.

I've used a DSTT card for a few months now. I think it's great. I would kind of agree that it's pointless putting on too many games because the front-end menu is pretty slow.

I'm now looking for one that also has a GBA pack so I can play old GBA games. Most of the people (including DealExtreme) do the M3 cart with the rumble pack, but finding a GBA pack is difficult. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hiya

I believe there is a card called the Supercard which i am pretty sure is a GBA slot card.

I think they also do this on Dealextreme

Hope this helps :)

Must be your Micro SD Card mate as i have over 200 games on my DSTT and it's super fast.

Considerably faster than my R4 .....which is now stuck in a drawer somewhere. :-D
