CoD4 @ Superspeed

Quick question for the regular gamers.

Logged onto XBL to play CoD4 yesterday evening and all the games were running at some sort of superspeed - as if the players were superheroes.

Is this a normal feature which the host rolls out occasionally or was it some sort of bug?

FYI, a lot of games yesterday were terminated by the host or had connection errors.

Can you explain please - I'm new to XBL.

Is a jtagged xbox one which has been chipped to play illegal copies of games?

So, you can host a game from your own XBox?

I dont know fully about the hosting or how its done just seen videos on youtube after searching jtagged xbox on there. Yes they play downloaded games, flashed xboxes will do but they can run unsigned things. Dont know lots about jtags but have a google there will probably be a good bit about them. The videos I saw on youtube were where they had a chopper gunner on mw2 which was instant killing everyone and making the game pointless and un playable to everyone but racking up a massive score to the guy. Jtagged ones are hardware modded early version xboxes which haven't had their dashboards updated, since updates they can't be done so they're rare.

I think with most games on xbl there's all the gamers connected and the game picks one of them to host. That will explain why it will say finding new host after some sore loser quits the game. Don't know how said things are done from there with the jtags though.

A jtag is an xbox with modded firmware. It allows them to apply different patches of code onto the game. Un like using a transfer cable it can be used online. I personally have a flashed xbox meaning i can play backed up games. However games can be downloaded illegally. Some things jtags can do are (on mw2) unlimited ammo, different coloured guns - chrome, rapid fire noob tubes, god mode - can't die and many more.

Basically they have hacked their Xbox and are using the modifications in game - they can set up their own lobbies and if you join, you get to play in that environment.

I wouldn't recommend getting too into it, just leave those games and report the players, as those are the spanners that hack every CoD game and ruin it for the rest of us.

Prestige hack, All unlocks, and aimbot/wallhack infections.

Stupid American kids will pay for anything. Made $600 in December!!!!!
