Can I still feed my 5 month old baby her solids when she has bad colic?

The colic started at 5am and she has never been bothered with this before.

Thanks

also colic displays more at night
DS2 has BAD colic but it went by 3 months. if she never had it before, i doubt it is that and something else that makes her feel unwell. if shes crying loads and randomly try NHS direct and get some advice?

i agree with mb on this, as 5 months is a little old to just start getting colic, how long has she been on solids, are her nappies as normal, maybe she is a little constipated, is she off food or drink?

Hi Sassie, no we are still giving her the milk but have stopped feeding her, she only gets purée like twice a day, we tend to feed her the milk then when she is finished wait 20 min then give her some purée.

Were also giving her infacol and calpol

are her nappies as normal? i am taking it she is bringing her knees up in pain, i would say if her nappies are as usual and nothing has changed and she doesnt settle to get her checked out, never can be to careful with little ones

I have just changed her bum and that's the first bit of poo today, I've laid her in her cot and she is drifting off to sleep with the lullaby thing above her head

also just fed her about 10min ago with some Apple puree so hopefully that might shift the badness along

Mum is now sleeping also in the bedroom :)

i would get some cool boiled water down her if she will take it, sounds a little bunged up, which can happen very easily with babies, often mistaken for colic, hope she settles and is a happy little one soon x
