CollectPlus Courier Service - anybody used them

Just tried this service to send some DVDs out from a sale on here.

So far the service was very easy to use and the drop off was painless and I received an email within minutes to say they have the parcel.

How long does delivery normally take?

What is the collection process - does the receiver need the tracking number or just an ID with their name on it?

any other comments - experiences?

thanks

EliTom

Yeah used them twice so far. Latest one left at Spar in NI on Wed, picked up from Glasgow, today. Receipient gets a text or email if you entered either of those.

I guess so!

Must say the shop I took it to was fine - scanned the label and before I left the shop I had an email on my blackberry to say the parcel was in their custody and when I PMed the buyer he had had a text to say its on its way.

Only thing that I don't fully understand is that they only take the recipients name so do they need to quote the tracking number as well as give ID?

thats the problem, i sent xmas pressies to my friend , first the shop tried to give her someone elses package. Then they said her husband had collected. Then i find they send parcel back to depot. Then same shop refuses its redelivery. It then took my friend 5 days of liasing with home delivery and her husband waiting an hour at an employees house to get said parcel.
