Ive drank the horrible horrible Picolax.

Im dreading it tbh.

Hey, how come everyone has suspended after their name - am I missing something? Some kind of joke perhaps..?
#4
No, it doesn`t hurt, it can be a little uncomfortable but not too bad. They may give you a little sedative to relax you but won`t knock you out.
I have lost count the times I have had this done, nothing to worry about.

Hope everything goes well. :)

Take a chill the dreaded picolax is the worst part. Its more embarrassing than pain full. you may be offered sedation depending on you condition but most are done without....Honest it dont hurt

Its alright they won't knock you out but they will sedate you and you'll end up druifting off yourself. I had it done about 5 years ago and was dreading it, even begged them to knock me out but it was all fine in the end.
#9
Cheers...im gonna ask to be sedated.

The finger treatment hurt so thats probs why m dreading it.

I cant wait to have something to eat 24hours is agess!

#13
The first time I had this done, afterwards the doctor asked me if I was ok.... I told him I was a bit upset, when he asked why, I told him.............

After what you just did to me, you didn`t even tell me you loved me! :w00t:

Yep, and the worst that will happen is that you'll be walking with a slight limp this afternoon, à la a young gay man after losing his virginity. :)

Hi i have one of these every 12 months as i have chrons disease and they are not as bad as you think, the sedation works a treat and you should not remember much about it ,the only thing i dont like about it is having my ass sticking out in for everyone to view...lol, you will be fine i hope it goes well for you and good luck.

The worst thing is a thoughtless doctor who may poke their finger in too fast.
Made me jump!

Did you have an operation for the chron's?? I got over a foot of my stomach removed 5 years ago with Chrons and these days my docs don't do anything except give me asacol. Was gonna ask if I should be getting colonoscopys regularly but don't fancy them really

It's just like OCD sex. Don't clench and you'll be fine.

Do you mean the end of the procedure was a bit uncomfortable, or YOUR end was a bit uncomfortable?
