[REC] - spanish film. I found paranormal activity scary as anything but I know a lot of people didn't.

When i was younger the Hammer movies scared me, then Poltergeist but no new horrors beyond 1990

Gorefests are tedious to watch

cant stand films what arnt in english and with subtitles, it takes the scaryness out of it concentrating on what it says for an hour and half , mind you [REC] isnt so bad

Not really a film, but more of a tv serial I suppose, but IT terrified me as a kid beyond believe. The bit with the youngster, the boat and the drain....ughh still get the heebie jeebies over that. I was a few years older than that particular kid when I first watched it, and it terrified me to the point I could not sleep and needed a nightlight for a while.

Still at least I got new bed sheets....

id recommend all the texas chainsaw massacre films, great films, jumpy and decent story.
would also recommend vacancy 1 and vacancy 2 great story very jumpy
and Psycho, watched it when i was a kid, didnt watch it again haha great film

I'm like ILP nothing really scares me, but must admit i found the feast trilogy and the ring quite disturbing, and one of the resi evils made me jump once, cant remember which one it was tho.
