Further to the apple thread i would like to know what your all time memorable deals are?


mine was the woolworths - any tv you fancy - for £150



i loved it

about 20 people in my office tried to order 1 and it was the entire days conversation of the entire office. It truly was erotic

I liked the moonpig deal, where you got 2 regular and 1 large card totally free, and could do it with as many email accounts as you wanted!

Mine is probably the 40" Samsung TV from Dixons for a solitairy pound :)

Mine was the £5 off everything at Play about a month ago, watching everyone moaning that they were not going to honour it and it was all play's fault and then the panic because the rumour was they were closing accounts for misuse was just funny.

mine had to be 8gb nano from amazon, didnt get the iitem , but got a free £20 voucher :)

The guy from Prezzbox entering the forum late in the evening because his server at work was texting his phone like mad was a classic. They acted quite professionally in that situation IMHO.

Yeah, I remember people buying a couple of books and a CD for a fiver or so, and getting £30+ worth of free delivery (getting special delivery and seperated post) - just because they could. That was really taking the micky needlessly!
