I thought I'd start this thread for those that like me have had their Comet order stopped because Comet cocked up!
I received a 40% code on Tuesday night and placed my order Wednesday night for £1400 after discount. At time of order I couldn't choose a delivery time and didn't receive a confirmation order as (I was told when I phoned) it had to be manually processed as it was a large order and therefore has extra security issues. I then get a phone call Saturday 5pm to tell me that the T&C's have changed and that I can only use it on one item.
I have told them to hold my order as it is until I have received consumer advice. My hubbie is going to ring The consumer advice line on 08454 04 05 06 tomorrow.
As the original thread is expired and also full of begging posts I thought it would be helpful for those having problems to discuss it further here.
UPDATE - my order has been delivered and they took the correct money from my credit card. My comet account is still showing my order without a confirmation number or delivery date and status and TBC!!! My advice if you get the dreaded call is to ask them to hold the order and cross your fingers lol!
