OMG I'll be your new best friend lol.

Do you get to use it on sale days?

I get all the usual NHS benefits, even though I don't work directly for them.

Suppose the best perk, was a meeting with a Consultant, who I discussed a small procedure with and told him I was on an 18month waiting list, He did the procedure that afternoon, after our meeting.

Oh and still have my old Leeds Uni parking pass, which is worth its weight in gold, good to have friends in high places :whistling:

Hubby works for a large Train company and his perks are free travel for his spouse and children, discounted travel on eurostar thats it i think , When i worked for Disney World we had free park entrance and free passes for family, 25% of Disney goods, hotels, foods. At xmas we used to get 50% discount which was excellent . Best perks i've had in any job since

Do you use the free train travel much?

Not really no, he has to work too much..lol it is useful sometime like this weekend we are off to legoland, so free travel to Windsor and hopefully its a quiet train and we get first class again..lol
The company is one of the worst to work for mind you but at least its a job, hes been with them 19 years and hes only 35

Yeah, this day and age, you have to take whatever comes along. The jobs for life are VERY rare these days. At least he will get a good pension, if he pays into one

I get loads of freebies from reps. Also lots of free chocolates from clients.

Surely the gyms are restricted though, as there's quite a few gyms out there that charge £150 per month?

My insurance allows me to go to any gym for £8 per month, eurostar for £10 return, unlimited cinema throughout the country for £25 per year and stays at Champney resorts for huge discounts too. ;-)

A canadian friend of mine is an aircraft engineer. He gets 95% for him and his family for flights anywhere in the world. He also then gets 60% off of any holiday inn hotel fee. Lucky git
