I enter a lot of competitions daily but I've never won anything huge like a holiday or some cash. The most I've won is OPI nail varnish or rimmel mascara.

Anyone here won any huge competition? If so what?

not me really but... my x sisiter in law was VERY lucky. She used to enter alot of radio competitions. She used to get through ALL the time. You used to have to be caller 97 or something but she always used to win!

Hard to remember what but.........

A trolley dash around sainsburys - 3 were in the competion and she won outright. She got the most in her basket. She got aload of stuff that she didnt need mind...lol..
She won her weight in gold from one of the local Jewellers when it opened.
She also used to win tickets each week to the show on the pier... we saw it loads!!!!

There were loads more but the best was a £10k shopping spree, picked up in a limo and take to Manchester.. dropped off at various shops... next etc and said right you ahve £500 to spend in here. She had to have pics taken and that but once that was done she got to just keep the gift card or what ever and spend at a later date.
Next was the ebst shop out of the lot, one included £1000 worth of double glazing, which i think the company bought back from her for a few hundred. I think others bought them back too but for less £.

The best thing i ever won was £250 of Co-op vouchers (local newspaper entry)
I have won quite a few smaller prizes but always from locally based comps. I've never won the major comps you see on TV or high profile papers. I enter the TV comps online every day but never get 'the call'

Last year I won £100 and 2 (really good) tickets to see McFly and do a meet and greet with them before the concert - my cousin is a HUGE mcfly fan so she was thrilled!

A few years ago i won a holiday for a week abroad. You had to be in the club when it was drawn, unfortunetly even though my ticket was drawn i had left :( HOWEVER i am sure i wouldn't have got it anyway as i wasn't actually 18 at the time .. was 4 days off my birthday!!
