Guys,

Im looking into getting a new laptop, budget will be max £400.

Ideally Im looking for it to be able to handle everyday internet, downloading music and playing football manager with ease.

Any advice what to look out for or has anyone seen any good deals recently.

Thanks in Advance.

Not had an issue, I've got a Dell Vostro 1520, been using it for the past year I screwed up a bios update and they replaced the motherboard as part of the warranty.

An example:

Base Inspiron 1545 Intel Core 2 Duo P7450 (2.13GHz,1066MHz,3MB)
Operating System Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64 BIT)
Hard Disk Drive 320GB HD 5400
Memory Memory : 4096MB (2x2048) 800MHz DDR2 Dual Channel
Media Bay Optical Drive 8X DVD + - RW Drive including software
NoteBook Screen Display 15.6in Widescreen WXGA with TrueLife WLED
System Color Cherry Red Custom High Gloss Finish
Video Graphics 512 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330

This one has a seperate graphics card much better than the integrated! This system costs Price incl.VAT and excl.del:
£398.31

What screen size are you after? How much storage space? Apart from footie manager what other games do you intend to play? I'll see what else I can find in the outlet. That card mentioned in above is better than an integrated card but not powerful enough to play on full settings but games can be played on lower settings with decent enough detail.

I would be happy with 15.6inch screen, would like decent amount of storage space.Would really just play Football manager, and it would need to handle my music and video files. Appreciate all you help.

It's a good one. There are loads of laptops for under £400 but with that budget getting a laptop with a good graphics card your chances are low. The one I mentioned seems good you should be able to play FM.
