Help please i have a wireless connection problem, computer worked fine earlier in the day and now it has come up with unidentified network, local only, i have had this problem before but can't remember the soloution and i really can't be bothered to spend 3 hours on the phone to sky to someone i can't understand, my router is fine cause every other device works, laptop and xbox please can any give me some advice please don't ask me to download drivers as i cannot connect to the internet, that is never the problem anyway

the router isn't the problem as my other computers work

if you mean typying in the passphrase i have done that

no you have to goto manage wireless networks first and delete the connection. then reconnect and enter the passphrase

try connecting it thru a lan cable ..so u wil be online and ..then check for the problem

could try here.
What ip address is your network adaptor showing? is it set up to get it's ip from dhcp or is it a static address?

The problem is a DHCP clash where a device that cannot access the network has somehow been issued with the same IP address with another device. Just restart the router so that DHCP can restart and reallocate IP addresses.
