i think its 200 or so in tesco stores a dual core pc (dell)

£299 for a quad core (bit too much power unless gaming) http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-0126.aspx

£259.99 a dual core http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-8262.aspx

remember quidco and use some of the vouchers

i like the look of this one, dont know if i can stretch the budget though, is there any link or any info online for the 200 quid one? which one would you personally reccomend?
Thanks for your help by the way

i would use the dual core unless you want it future proof (5-6 years) but not many people would have use for the quad core.
The dual core is better suited as it has large hard drive good size ram and its a pretty quick cpu. I have a dual core dell and would recommend it 100%

i think its instore only for the one i meant, i will check it when i go in tomorrow

something like this would be ok: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aspire-SA90-MirageTM-graphics-Keyboard/dp/B000SYDA4G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1218663066&sr=8-2

you'd need to upgrade the RAM tho, which would cost you abut £26 for 2GB, then you could sell the 512MB for around a tenner

would rather go for the dell to be honest, i dont know why but i just dont like acers..

thanks for your input though

thats a server, would need some modding to be able to use as a normal pc tho

a server is a pc that holds data e.g. this website is saved on a server (or 4) :whistling:

Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core E2180 Processor (2.00GHz,800MHz,1MB cache), Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium with Service Pack 1, 32-bit - English

this @ dell.com deals (link on dell home page- vostro 400 slim case)

that pc should do for doing most games and tasks (not crysis etc :whistling:) thats 210.33 with vat and shipping

the tesco one has 2 x the ram and a bigger hard drive but the one above is good enough, and more ram and hard drive can be added easily
