Sound like you need to re-install the USB drivers after formatting your pc?

ive done that there all there in the device manager which says there working fine

few suggestions,

try a USB keyboard and see what happens.

seems to be a conflict with keyboard and usb devices, try going into the BIOS at bootup (usually F2 or DEL ) and reset to default or optimum settings.

ive reset the bios cant get a usb keyboard to work as nothing gets picked up from the usb it was like this before i reformated thats why i formated it still same problem its driving me crazy

okay, you've reformatted and reinstalled so we know its not a software fault, my next step would be to reset the Bios manually, open up the case and remove the cmos battery for few minutes. Probably wont make any difference but it would be my next step.

I assume you've tried different usb devices and different usb ports.

So your computer is frying keyboards? Or the keyboards were faulty before you plugged them in?

Are these usb ports on the back (mother board) or on the front? They could be wired in wrong. Where did you get the computer from.

bothe the pc is an e machine pc world

Strange.

Seems something seriously wrong with the motherboard.

have you tried just using a usb keyboard (without a normal keyboard fitted at same time)
maybe its the ps2 keyboard socket thats faulty, so don't use it.

other than that i think you need new motherboard.
