Someone posted a link to ebay before with an item that connects to your television and has a usb input.

Was a cheap thing but i cant remember where the thread is or what to search for

What outputs you got on the back of your pc, s video, vga etc?

computer ;)

AND NO NEED TO SHOUT!

you need to identify output connections on your pc and input connections on your tv otherwise we are just guessing at what you need.

if you've got s-video out on your graphics card (small, round connector, often yellow and usually next to the connection for the monitor) you can get a s-video to scart cable from maplin for about £10.

A few pointers may be of help -

For video signal you have 3 options but it depends what you have on your PC and telly.

Simplest -

If your telly is a plasma or lcd it may have a PC video signal input on the back (15 pin d type connector) this looks the same as the connector on the back of your computer where the monitor plugs in. If this is the case you just need a video to video 15 pin d type male to male cable. (This method you may get full PC resolution on your telly)

More complicated -

If your telly is an old CRT type it may only have scart / composite RGB or the yellow phono input. For these inputs you need a special type of video card to be fitted inside your PC. This allows your PC output to be broadcast on this type of cable (You are limited to quite a low resolution and normally this is next to useless.)

For Audio -

Normally audio is input to your telly into the red and white phono inputs (similar to the yellow one above) or directly into your scart. This leaves the audio output from your PC. Normally a PC has a speaker output (green socket where you plug your speakers) You can buy a 3.5mm stereo din to phono (red and white) cable at most hardware stores.

Hope this helps as a guide, but I really need something more to go on.:santa:

ITS WORKING PROPERLY. SOUNDS LIKE YOU'VE GOT THE EXTENDED DESKTOP ON. THE MOUSE IS THERE YOU JUST HAVE TO KEEP SCROLLING OFF YOUR LAPTOP AND THE CURSOR WILL APPEAR ON THE PLASMA.

Plunn have you set it to extended desktop, If so just move your mouse to the right.
I have Sony lcd with built in network and a old laptop so you just play music or view pictures from tv remote.
Also have it setup so winamp is default player and the visuals, video, karaoke screen shows on the tv and i can still have the desktop view. I control the laptop remotely across room using Realvnc.
No wires = A Happy women Lot's of wire = A Happy Bloke and it's now working.
