I used a link to web site for tickets to Thorpe Park, called printyour tickets,co.uk I have tried twice to use them but had my cards challenged and I now have concerns about this web site, can anyone enlighten me please. The link appears to have disappeared from Hot Deals. Was it removed?

No idea....

Here's a link to the site:

Probably an idea to ask the mods to move to Misc....... This is for feedback on THIS site, not others! (Though a removal suggests its quite ok to ask!)

Moved to misc.

Printyourtickets.co.uk is registered to a UK individual as opposed to a company or business
Ref

It's therefore not suitable for Hotukdeals.
The site was also registered very recently.

Well this site looks very dodgy.

1) Web site only created in April and registed to a single individual

http://whois.domaintools.com/printyourtickets.co.uk

2) A search in Google does not find any press releases or anything else in "news" to indicate it has been "announced" which you would expect from a facility like this.

3) No mention of it on Thorpe park web site.

My GUESS is it is a scam, but I have no proof.

If you paid by credit card phone them and see if your card has been used elsewhere, you may find you have just bought a rolls royce in Australia with it.

Many thanks, obvoiously why it was removed from Hot deals, but unfortunately not before I had found it and followed the link. Thank you to all concerned.

usually websites which require you to insert your credit card details to purchase an item run through a check to see if your credit card has gone through, well type out '00000000000000' and your transaction becomes succesful automatically on this site :D

its a scam, just used to take card details etc

Does anyone know where I can complain about this web site?

Had the same problem, card was challenged,
but luckily i used a debit card, seems he may only want
credit cards,as this is the reply i had from him,

Thank you for your order.
However we regret to inform you that we are unable to process your card.
printyourtickets.co.uk were unable to get an authorisation code from the
bank. This could be bacause, some banks put restrictions on cards and must
be taken off manually by calling the bank. Please could you get intouch
with your bank and lift any restrictions that you might have in place and
try again. You could try placing another order and use a different card.

Kind regards,

Order Support

Perhaps guilbert53 and esq3585 may have knowledge about how to officially report this web site?

Just had a reply from my bank,
they havent put any stops on my card,
nor have they had any other complaints about the site.

Still seems highly dodgy to me, if other people are being
ask to verify card details again, when clearely there is no sound
reason to do so,

Will be keeping a very close eye on my account as always
just in case 4 circus tickets appear on there from Dubai

Likewise, still very unhappy with site, appears to be deliberatly associating itself with the genuine printyour tickets site.
#19
I have had activity on my cards having attempted to use this site, verified as faud by both banks but o-one appears to know how to challenge such site.
#20
My husband just ordered some tickets from this site and got a confirmation email saying payment was successful.

Minutes later he got another email from them asking for the following additional information or order would be cancelled:

Last 4 digits of Credit Card
Name of card holder as it appears on the card
Date of Birth

This seemed dodgy to me.....why would they need a DOB for Credit Card transaction.....so I googled them and came upon this thread.

The site seems genuine but it does appear from the replies on here that other people also have concerns.

Not sure how to report this company but they definitely need looking into.

He has not replied to the email

ALSO

I ordered something and used credit card No 000000000000000.

My order was successful but not had an email yet.

This is very dodgy......his is obviously not having payments processed through a proper gateway.
