Confused about payment received on eBay/PayPal

Ok I had a listing on eBay (Buy it now) and it was a quantity of 10 of a set of tickets, and someone bought all 10 for £60, and paid. I then got a straight £60 into my PayPal account. Of course I had eBay fees to minus from my account, but my question...how come I didn't get charged a 3.4% PayPal fee?

Never heard of this before, make sure it has a confirmed address to send it to and you have your seller protection, if you do then that's great, they charge too much for what they offer ('they' being eBay and paypal).

Wait I went into transaction details and it shows this:

Total Amount:
£60.00 GBP
Fee amount:
-£2.24 GBP
Net amount:
£57.76 GBP

So why does it say my balance is £60 :S should it not say £57.76

My bad how could I forget net is after transaction fees are deducted, that's fine. But why does my available balance not show as what it should :S

dont you get billed at the end of the month or something...so you will have all the funds but theyll bill you for the 2.24 or watever and take it from your paypal(balance or account) on a certain date

Paypal take money the time of transaction not later. eBay fees are paid monthly.

Can't explain why your balance says £60 unless you had money in there beforehand :D
