Connecting PC to my TV?

Is it possible to do this with my tv/pc? I'd really like to be able to watch the programs i've missed on the TV instead of the computer.

I have a 42" HD ready Akura TV(japanese brand) and my video card is Nvidia
PALIT 9800GT Green Edition 1GB GDDR3 VGA DVI HDMI Out PCI-E Graphics Card (item number 171941 on ebuyer).
If it is possible, what wires/cables do i need? what sockets does my tv need?

thanks

Some do (HD 4670 Ultimate) but can't work out if the PALIT 9800GT Green Edition does or not.

thanks for the input all
i've mailed them(palit) to check about the sound

after doing some measuring, seems i'm gonna need a 5m cable.

if the sound didn't work through HDMI cable, what would i need to buy to make it work?

Pobably a 3.5mm jack to rca (aux) phono. from your sound card to tv aux. Or if you have a optical input, could use Toslink cable

Some do, more do than don't now though.

From the pic it looks like the palit 9800 has a audio in on it, so you would put a cable from your mobo to your graphics card to do the sound. Obviously double check though first.

Got it all working now, sound didn't work at first, but i managed to work out where that cable was supposed to go and sound works now too!

typing this on my 42" hd monitor now

repped all for help
