With the Coffee Club, you can now collect points on everything you buy at participating stores (you'll get 5 points for every £1 you spend).

And as your points build up, you can spend them on your favourite food and drink in-store, as each point is worth 1p.

Registering your Coffee Club card will give you 100 free bonus points to help you on your way to a free coffee.

You will also be able to manage your account online, secure your card against loss or theft and monthly statements plus free points promotions will be emailed directly to your inbox.

I'd rather put my money in the pockets of independant and local coffee shops....Terrible loyalty card deal too, in my opinion. Freezin cold (coffee).

Agreed, if one likes Costa. I just believe that we need to support our local coffee shops, therefore I don't drink Costa. If anything, I will drink and support Cafe Torelli. Mr and Mrs Costa's son's company...

But once started you only need 5 McDonald coffees for a free one as the free one has a sticker on it too ;)

I hate Costa. Had a few bad expriences years ago and never been back. It is just... Whitbreads? Jumping on the bandwagon. At least Starbucks started out as a small coffee roaster which then went global. And the Starbucks card is much better offering free extras with your coffee.

And remember that if you need to buy beans get them from Starbucks as you get a free tall drink when you pay with your Starbucks card. I get a bag of espresso beans for £3.75 and get a free tall caramel frapuccino worth £2.95...Mmmm!

I agree about Costa I always have to have a extra shot as the coffee is flavourless and weak.

I have a fantastic coffee place where I live and you can pick from around 15 types of coffee, including italian roast (my fave) but its take out only.

I prefered Costa's old loyalty scheme.

Yes :)

It got Filmed in my friends costa store in Edinburgh, Filmed from 5pm - 2am

January it got done, Im not so keen on this points based card though,

I played a customer, oh and sitting having a silent mouth moving conversation was really weird to do,

And the sound guy could hear everything, ( they were filming on one side of the shop and he could hear the faintest whisper when we were quietly talking really quiet whisper lol )

he did jump acouple of times at the loud noise's outside of vans etc going past :-D
