im tipping cotto as a bet, but expect manny to win...

so you tip people to win that you fully expect to lose? i don't think you've grasped this gambling lark amigo!

anyway, the only "semi-value" bet for me is manny tko at 7/4

No listen... i said i tip cotto as a bet, the odds are pretty decent. its not worth betting on manny even though i expect him to win. Saying that its not going to be an easy fight for manny and cotto could easily cause an upset... you understand now?

nah, i don't understand you. you're contradicting everything. you fully expect him to win but it won't be easy?? if you fully expect someone to win, don't back the opposition regardless of the price. 3/1 is as good as 100/1 if it loses.

i fully expect you to be on this thread later revelling in moral victory should either of them win, as you fully expected both results

I didnt say i fully expect him to win.. did i? i said i expect him to win. The point i was trying to make was cotto was worth a bet(Good odds imo) as he could easily cause an upset that was all. Of course pacman is favourite but its not going to be easy i dont think and wouldnt be surprised if he(Cotto) did casee an upset.

For the record i have put money on cotto so i wont be back later boasting no matter who wins... as said before... i dont think you understand though. I expect manny to win. BUT cotto is worth a bet as the odds are good and its quite possible he could beat manny with the correct gameplan.

Wow, what a fight. so glad i stayed up for it

Pacman is not human. He was hurting cotto and then the tables turned and he back up Cotto
He is seriously something else tho pacman

should be fight o' the century. ruthless doesn't quite do pac justice
#34
cottos dad wanted it stopped in the 11th round but his trainer wanted to finish the fight....he could no longer throw any punches in the 12th tho and ref declared it a TKO.

good fight, pac-man beccomes the first boxer to win 7 world titles across 7 weights

unstoppable? not by the look of this fight
#35
manny was being cautious tho - ddn't want to go for the kill and get sucker-punched.

Pacman is an ATG now. Definately top 20 for what he has achieved. He just needs to beat Mayweather now to cement his legacy. Although if anyone can beat the current Pac, it's Mayweather.
