Sassie, lifes full of tough decisions and I am sure my pales by comparison but I have the builders in and have to decide bathrooms, kitchens, tiles, carpets, lefthand opening righthand opening, blue, pink, rough, smooth etc etc.
Decision making is draining in all sorts of ways and always has an emotional impact. Eat well, good n ights sleep and everything looks differnet in the morning (not always better but different anyway).

Well to be honest life is what you make of it even for a pup and that little guy is so cute in the way he keeps going. Loved him. I think its a good thing. Sorry if you found it sad.

i just feel like everything i have tried to keep together for the last few years has been a complete waste of chuffin time, but maybe this decision will make the next few easier and worry about the years after that when they happen:oops:

never really looked at it like that, wonder if thats how people look at me:oops:

Well not to give the video too much meaning - but I think in a way that's life... the news reporter is being all serious and analysing but that pup is just thinking 'my god I'm ALIVE!' even though he keeps getting taken down it doesn't faze him one bit. You can't care what people try to make of your life or how they think of you - just got to get out there and live it no matter what's thrown your way. I think you've got that attitude already though sassie so keep the chin up :)

I'm reading this post thinking what can I say to make you feel better, sometimes there's not a lot you can say is there? Maybe think about your friends and people who are there for you and all the positive things in your life and also maybe have a nice meal, switch off the phone and have a glass of wine and watch a film to temporarily give some relief! Hope it all gets better quickly 4 you
#10
Sassie,
Sorry to hear you're not feeling great. You helped me enormously today, only wish I could repay in some small way.
Keep your chin up, there's always some muppett worse off somewhere.
#11
I find that watching someone elses misfortunes, such as on You've Been Framed, often cheers me up.

Failing that you could rig up some 'accidents' at work or in the street, step back to a distance and have a good laugh at your very own 'you've been framed' antics. However I wouldn't advise a Harry Hill style running commentary as you may well give the game away!

I know there is worse off than me, im under no illusions there, i have nobody to rely on for anything (my own doing been on my own since i was 16, old habits die hard) and sometimes feel like i have to scream so loud for anyone to notice things are slipping away. I hate being out of control of a situation and now feel thats where im at, i suppose the decisions aint really decisions as to make a decison there would have to be alternative choice

(as you can see my head is so far in the head i cant even spell decision, dessision, oh cack who cares)
#13
Take it one day at a time, take one problem at a time (or one part of the problem!) and just do the best thing at the time. No-one gets it right all the time that's coz we are human... Many sympathies your way:)
#14
Sometime sass the hardest one to make to make the decision to keep going instead of giving up. You make that decion every day hun.

sassie, my life was absolute ***** a good few years back and i honestly thought that was how it was meant to be, but things change, not overnight, but they do get better. If you ever need someone to chat to dont hesitate to get in touch......i am a good listener.

Hi Sassie
I have just had a baby (well six months ago) and had terrible depression but I kept thinking how lucky I was to have a healthy baby, roof over my head and loving husband.
I doesn't matter what people say when you are fed up, just knowing there are people out there who care is what counts. You will need to work it out in your own head and you will do. It will just take a bit of time.
I will be thinking of you anyway hoping you will be ok

7. The medical profession's way of cheering you up is to prescribe antidepressants. This is like taking Botox internally, in that they freeze your emotions but limit your capacity to regain your natural smile. Jigsaws are a much better way of cheering yourself up because they totally occupy the mind.

Sassie..You can see from the responses that people are thinking of you in the nicest possible way. Hopefully you can take encouragement from that. I dont know what has happened fully but I get the impression it is pretty bad - particularly from your last post above. We can tell you to keep your chin up etc - but this is obviously difficult at present. If you can..speak to someone..talk things over and get a different viewpoint. It may not be the answer you seek but I think it would be worse to try to keep it to yourself.

I am sure any of those whom you know on here would chat by PM if you think it may help.

Keep smiling hun - I am up for one of your portrait pics!! xx:-D

One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his Sweat-
Shirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to me,
"What setting do I use on the washing machine?"
"It depends," I replied. "What does it say on your shirt?"
He yelled back, " University of California ."
And they say blondes are dumb...

A couple is lying in bed. The man says,
"I am going to make you the happiest woman in the world."
The woman replies, "I'll miss you..."
-----------------------------------------------------------
"It's just too hot to wear clothes today," Jack says as he stepped out
of the shower, "honey, what do you think the neighbors would think if I
mowed the lawn like this?"
"Probably that I married you for your money," she replied.

Q: What do you call an intelligent, good looking, sensitive man?
A: A rumor

Dear Lord,
I pray for Wisdom to understand my man; Love to forgive him; And
Patience for his moods. Because, Lord, if I pray for Strength, I'll beat
him to death.

Q: Why do little boys whine?
A: They are practicing to be men.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Q: What do you call a handcuffed man?
A: Trustworthy.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Q: What does it mean when a man is in your bed gasping for breath and
calling your name?
A: You did not hold the pillow down long enough.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Q: Why do men whistle when they are sitting on the toilet?
A: It helps them remember which end they need to wipe.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Q: How do you keep your husband from reading your e-mail?
A: Rename the mail folder "Instruction Manuals"

Hope these cheer you up a little and everything turns out for the best. :)

Hey sassie :)
I can only wish you the best in all that you do and hope the decisions you have to make will turn out to be the wisest ones.

Bless you and your family.

An 86-year-old man went to his doctor for his quarterly check-up...

The doctor asked him how he was feeling, and the 86-year-old said, "Things are great and I've never felt better. I now have a 20 year-old bride who is pregnant with my child. So what do you think about that Doc?"

The doctor considered his question for a minute and then began to tell a story.

"I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season.
One day he was setting off to go hunting. In a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun.
As he neared a lake, he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water's edge.
He realized he'd left his gun at home and so he couldn't shoot the magnificent creature.
Out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it were his favourite hunting rifle and went 'bang , bang'.
Miraculously , two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead.

Now, what do you think of that?" asked the doctor.

The 86-year-old said , "Logic would strongly suggest that somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver."

The doctor replied , 'My point exactly.'

I made the thread in the hope of some jokes, to cheer me up, sorry if that offends you, yes i have family but would have to be lying on the floor hysterical before they noticed i had problems, and my closest friend in the world lost here 19 year old daughter a few months ago, so no probably not the wisest thing to talk to her about my problems, even i know nothing compares to that, so again appologies to any offence caused to you

It's sometimes easier to talk to virtual friends than real ones. :)

Here's one that may get deleted (but only by people with dirty minds)

Towards the end of the golf course, Dave hit his ball into the woods and found it in a patch of pretty yellow buttercups. Trying to get his ball back in play, he ended up thrashing just about every buttercup in the patch. All of a sudden.....POOF!! In a flash and puff of smoke, a little old woman appeared. She said, "I'm Mother Nature! Do you know how long it took me to make those buttercups? Just for doing what you have done, you won't have any butter for your popcorn for the rest of your life: better still, you won't have any butter for your toast for the rest of your life......As a matter of fact; you'll never have any butter for anything the rest of your life!!!!! Then POOF...she was gone! After Dave recovered from the shock, he hollered for his friend, "Fred, where are you?"Fred yells back "I'm over here in the pussy willows." Dave shouts back, "DON'T SWING, FRED!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T SWING!" :whistling:

Don't worry it doesn't offend me at all. I, just like you, have more important things to worry about rather than get offended by something that is posted on the web.

What I originally meant was that you would probably be better talking to someone face to face or person to person rather than trying to confide in a computer screen.

How do you know its not the wisest thing to talk to your friend... have you tried yet ?

You also say that you would need to be lying on the floor hysterical before your family noticed you had problems. Have you never thought of picking up the phone and talking to them?

A problem shared etc etc.

Why don't you give it a try, you never know it might actually help and make you feel better.

Some people need to realise that there is also a life outside the internet. There are too many people in this day and age that rely too heavily on the internet and forget to realise whats going on in the big world around them.

(BTW that last part was not directed at you personally in case you take any further offence).
