my question is, is this the fee paypal charges you for using them or is it the final value fee being taken off.
bit new to selling on ebay etc so any help into this would be appreciated thanks

Depending on what section you sold in be prepared for around 8-12% in total, FVF fees insertion fees and paypal fees. Assuming it was paid via paypal.

I would agree however think along the lines of 'you will get 10% more on ebay than anywhere else' and it all seems a little more paletable.

I get more annoyed by the fact that you think you have paid all the fees i nthe month of the sale then yo ualways seem to get another invoice at the end of the month with some other fees!

I'm selling locally now (gumtree etc.) as their prices are ridiculous :|

ive recieved payment into my paypal account and it says there holding it, whys this? when should i be allowed it, will it be some sort of protection
#14
and how would i find the buyers address. i know i could print a label off but i dont have a printer :|

should be in your e-mail off Paypal stating you have been paid. Alternatively, click Details on the transaction in Paypal.

The money has been held because they don't trust you to send the goods. When you receive positive feedack, or 21 days, whichever is soonest, then the funds will be released. This happens on some transactions, and more in some categories than others.

Last question, How long should i give it till i ask the buyer for payment? is 1-2 days suitable
#18
Personally, when i used to trade, i gave 7 days, however a thread on this matter revealed most people wait about 3 days
