Just had my biggest credit card statement ever - 8 pages long (over £3.5k, but don't tell my other half LOL)! Paid it off in full as I do every month.

Can anyone beat this!

i take it your referring to a personal credit card statement.

I work as an accountant and some of the company credit card bills (even for small companies) are frightening

 @ dave

What I don't understand is if you can afford to pay off £3.5k in one go then why use a credit card in the first place?
#8
Cashback or points??
#9
Credit card protection/cashback/being able to keep that £3.5k in the bank a bit longer to make interest?

Better than carrying three and a half grand around in cash:whistling:

What I don't get is the need to declare this to people on an internet forum.... I know I would't

So the only alternative to not having a credit card is to carry around cash?

I think Dave already successfully explained the point the OP was trying to make with this thread :whistling:

Of course you are. I guess my post didn't come across how it was meant to, the whistle was directed at the OPs transparency, rather than at you for having an opinion, if that helps :)

LOL you should talk after that less than tactful post about the NEW mod, hehehehe :p

I worked in Wales for some time, one of the best things was their sense of humour. :)

And the sheep of course

Nail on head my friend.

Really can't see the point of starting a thread about this on an internet forum for any other reason than showing off.

If you really want to brag go tell your friends...if you have any in real life.

btw if anyone has anything to say....my dads bigger than your dad :p
