It would depend,

Driveclub is track racing

The Crew is open world racing like the newer Need for Speeds.

both totally different games

have both of them. I like the crew as ahmed has said it's like NFS which i love

Driveclub is really just driving around different tracks over and over

With recent patches, online does now work. The latest update brings dynamic weather.

Personally I found the driving in Driveclub A LOT better than in The Crew. Obviously though with The Crew being an open world street racer and Driveclub being a track racer, that may sway your decision. I'd pick Driveclub though just because of the driving and the new weather patch.

I'll have to try it again. I bought it on release date and got so p*ssed off with the falsely advertised issues, I gave up playing it.

I was in the same boat as you, so annoyed i bought it, my first digital purchade tried everything to get my money back. Now its fully working I honestly love this game, Ive got the platinum but still happy to put hours in, I feel they should have compensated us psn credit in some form but still overall im happy now.

I would've recommended Forza Horizon 2...that game is phenomenal in my opinion. My racing game of the year! I think a lot of people are overlooking this gem of a game. It's open world like The Crew but I do note that you only game on a PS4. I think The Crew is kinda like marmite but can be especially good if you have friends to play it with. Do you like racing in closed sections or enjoy the freedom of open roads?

Have you ever played Driveclub by any chance? I'd probably think not if you own an Xbox but I've played both and from a neutral point of view I honestly think the actual driving in Driveclub is much better than in Horizon 2. I prefer the open world in Horizon 2 but I can't get on too much with the driving, even less after playing Driveclub. I was wondering if it was just me or anyone else too.

That's probably because I think a lot of newcomers to the Forza series don't actually realize that when you start playing the game ALL the assists are on which makes them handle ridiculously well and behave very unreal. Switch the assists off and you can begin to really appreciate the way the cars handle and drive. As for the handling well that's odd because I've largely followed the reviews for both games and the general consensus seems to be that the handling in DriveClub is odd. Both are good games but Forza Horizon 2 is a much better package overall. I don't think you can go wrong either way but Horizon 2 offers so much more content and is more likely to cater to a wider audience than DriveClub.
