Hi all just need a bit of advice :)

I've seen a LG 42" Tv in Argos but its only available for home delivery, the same Tv is instore at currys for £100 more just wondered if they are likely to honour a price match?

According to the Currys website they only price match against instore prices
This is their Price matching policy quoted on their website :-

We won't be beaten on price!

In the unlikely event that you find a cheaper price, for the same product and offer, We’ll not only match the price but also beat it by 10% of the difference. Our price promise even applies up to 7 days after purchase.

Single unit purchases only. The competitor must be a retail store within 30 miles and have stock ready for delivery. Available instore only.

Its says instore only but still might be worth going int and asking them, you've nothing to lose :)

i would rather watch my garden window then tv
i'm gonna give it a go anyway , my arguement is that this specific Tv is never available instore , its for home delivery only.

Also where it says "Available instore only" i think thats refering to currys stores :)

you can only get the price match policy (instore @ currys)

what you can do is take a copy of the printout from Argos, explain the home delivery service and say you can pay CASH (actually cash or card is the same thing imo) and take away now!

You'll only save £10.xx between the Currys and Argos Price, NOT 10% of the price Currys are selling for - I found this out when I boguht a DVD player £8 cheaper in Currys than Comet, (paid £28) and saved only 80p more (I was expecting to save £2.80)

I repeat - its 10% off the difference between both stores, not 10% the currys advertised price

yeah i get the 10% off the difference, its not really about the discount its more i just want to pick the tv up today with no messing about waiting in for couriers and all that.

How do i get a printout from argos ( am i being very dim asking this?) :)
look on their website, search for TV and print out?
How stupid am i oO

was thinking you meant from argos instore

Do you have the model number or link to the TV on Argos?
