Bought the Samsung TV last night at 19:19, set it up and never liked it (suppose i never gave it chance) just went to return it and got a snotty manager who saidi couldn't as it had been opened and he cant resell as new (which he has a point)

But what are my consumer rights? Thinking to just get used to it, but thought i'd ask here before i do so.

Thanks

You only have to right to a refund on stuff bought online or over the phone (distance selling regs) as you don't have the chance to see what you're buying.
There's no cooling off period for anything bought instore as you can see what you're getting. Some store do have a policy but their not required to in law, sorry...

If there's nothing wrong with it you have no right to bring it back

Had you ordered it online, you'd have 7 days from the day you receive it to reject it (distance selling regulations) and you dont need an "excuse" to reject the goods,
However buying in a shop, you don't have that option, you can only bring it back to get repaired (possibly replaced) if there is a fault with it.
not just because you dont like it.

Knowing Currys they'll send it off for repair, they don't have to replace it on the spot.
