Promary school kid will probably do it for £5.

I dont like promary schools, much prefer my kids to go to a primary school!

so if i was to ask them to give it the once over at the jc would i have to book an appointment?? Ive never ben on benefits or needed them so I dont know?? Can you just walk in, who do u ask for????

Just walk in and someone will ask you if you need any help. Another idea is to just download a template CV from somewhere on the internet, and stick your own details in it.

Ah, then the job centre is your best bet, as it is free. I am sure you could find someone to do it for a fee, but walking into town is free. They will also help you look for a job (if you need help)

post it up here quickly (copy and paste job) and we'll all look through it and help you out if you have made any mistakes.

I'll gladly go through it if you email me it?

Does that sound creepy or am I being silly?

But yeah, I'll gladly do that for you.

likewise, i'll take a look for you as suggested above by either posting on here or private messaging me it.

A little tip, it helps if you keep it clean looking and relevant to the post you are sending it to.
I get loads of CVs and most of them go in the bin simply due to the fact that what we (as a company) do is very specific so previous experience of working at Boots is not important to me, unless you make it relevant i.e. examples of customer liaison etc.
Also grammar and spelling are important, especially if it's a job which has a lot of that sort of thing as a prerequisite.
If you would like me to have a scan of it I can offer some feedback, but what is it's purpose?
A 'generic' CV stands out in a bad way. "I want a job, hopefully you may give me one" as opposed to "I would like a job working for your organisation, and here is why I think I would be a good acquisition for you".

lol link didn't work (it's a rickroll people)

just gauging interest with everyone, if there was a company that provided this service what would you be willing to pay and what tier job would you be looking at?

when I hit about 45 I want to retire but I was thinking of setting up a lifestyle business that provides this and interview training wonder if people would be willing to pay for it.

WHO WANTS TO WRITE ME A COVER LETTER???????

Hi,

I'm Peter J May, and I'd like a job at your company. With regards to the kind of job I'm after, I don't know. Can you suggest one for me? I'm not really into that 'thinking for myself' lark. Actually, you might already know that if you've already had your HR office monkey google for my name, and discover the thread I posted onto HUKD. I heard a lot of you guys are doing that these days. Whoopsie if you have, it'd really suck if I blew this and all career prospects for the foreseeable future by being such an unimaginative and helpless buffoon on a shopping forum.

Cheers,
Peter J May
