Daughter been sick all night what should I give her to eat
Daughter woke up at 2am throwing up and has continued through the night but started dry heaving due to stomach being empty. So ive gave her a little water but when I do within 20 minutes its coming back up.
Im guessing its a 24 hour stomach bug thing.
Looking on google it says everywhere not to feed her, is this right as she is hungry as her belly is empty.
If I can feed her what the best thing to give her? Is porridge a good idea?
Anyone know if there are any stomach bugs going around?
Im going out to get soluble vitamin C as lots of people in forums said that would help others that have asked. is this a good thing to give her?
Missus wants to take her to doctors but I think its a little excessive and doctor wont really do anything apart from suggest rest it out or something
any help or suggestions would be great
I know its The Misk but there are many helpful people and people with children that's why I have asked here.

Call these people they should be able to help you out as they probably have dealt with similar cases before
When she's ready to eat, she will... Small portions though, very bland stuff to start with...
I hate you :D
Only thing is they can take their time calling you back. If you're really worried, call the doc. They get paid extra for working weekends, may as well make them earn it!

Yeah this is what I thought
I have nephews and nieces that have been ill like this before and I remember the doctors saying its a case of waiting it out and if it gets worse call us and so on

Anyway be serious
my daughter is now 11, we've had a few bouts of this over the years, i find dry toast/plain biscuits good. still give her little sips of water tho, you can get dyoralite sachets from your chemist to replace her electrolites, just mix it with water. like someone else said, ice lollies are good, even though she is bringing liquids back up, she still needs them, even if its only for a little while til she brings it up again, if it dosent ease off in 24 hours i would see your gp. good luck! xxx
