ebay would be a good place to look, also home bargains

Have you considered getting them each a book or something from the book people - spend the same amount (or even less!) and get a proper present to take home instead of a load of little bits which will probably be binned. A book and a piece of cake would be good :)

Asda do loads of 'Peppa Pig' Partywear, and I'm sure its on 3 for 2... Quite reasonably priced too...

Hope this may help, or give some ideas.

I know our local 99p store sells Dora items which may be useful for loot bags like colouring pencils and colouring in books, also Dora Stickers as well

try this www.1stclasscelebrations.co.uk/ i have used them before for my little boys first birthday they have everything you need to keep in with a themed party even have personalised birthday banners, a little more pricy than some places worth it though as its really nice stuff some good ideas for filling up the party bags as well what about some crayons? always goes down well

There are loads of great internet stores to buy themed ware from which generally are all in line with one another price wise, but to cut a few corners I:
Buy plain paper tablecloths and let the kids draw on them or stick themed pictures on.
Buy plain paper plates but put a themed napkin on each when i lay the table,
Print themed colouring sheets from the intenet to put in party bags, I accompany these with mini packs of crayons (in elastic bands). Buy the crayons cheap in big packs from 99p shops.
Do an activity like making a themed bookmark/card/picture/photo frame which goes in party bag at end.
Make the invitations, rather than bu them. (this year theme was Mickey Mouse and I cut black card into mickey mousehead shapes and wrote onthem with silver pen)
Make banners and decorations using a roll of wallpaper boarder, These pictures can be used for art activitis also.
If you are at home, take a group photo at the beginning of party and print a copy to put in each party bag. (Depends on amount of adult help you have!)
Try charity shops for little toys... one of ours always has the free gifts from childrens magazines a local newsagents donate. I got 20 Thomas Tank things one year for £2.
Use Plain balloons but hang from a themed large toy, or poster form a magazine.
For food usea cooie cutter to shape sandwiches, biscuits etc... children so interested in these they dont notice lack of themed cups etc!
Buy cheap party bags and attach a large themed homemade label with childs name on.. Wallpaper border excellent for this!

Hope some of this helps, I used to buy everything themed when my 10 year old was little but soon realised that the children dont notice it anyway, Hope you ahve a lovely party x
